Have you ever wondered how to get that perfect look? Well, spend
some time with a famous make-up artist and you will finally learn how. This
past Thursday, The Fashion Group International of Los Angeles held an event
showcasing Dior's National artist, Kevianno Guerrero in Santa Monica. The event began with Kevianno
demonstrating his make-up wonders on a young woman. He also shared many of his
wonderful secrets and tips on how to achieve the look you have always wanted!
During the remainder of the evening, guests were treated to
complementary makeovers by Kevianno and other Dior consultants. Guests also had
the opportunity to play in a Bloomingdale's claw crane that featured hundreds
of dollars worth of Dior products. Yours truly was actually the first to win a
prize!
Makeovers continued throughout the night with Kevianno and the rest
of his team working magic on all the guests! I loved my makeover so much that I
even purchased the Dior Addict Ultra Gloss (and I've never been a fan of lip
gloss!).
Want the look? After meeting Kevianno, I realized it is not as hard
as it seems! Read these simple tips and you may be closer to achieving the
"model look" you've always wanted:
1. Use Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation for a softer look
This ultra-light foundation spray is similar to the airbrush
techniques used backstage. You can spray it from the can or you can use a
kabuki brush for better coverage. Kevianno says it will help get rid of creases
and lines, leaving your face looking flawless and smooth.
2. Use Dior's Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum for longer lashes
Want longer, healthier looking eyelashes? Kevianno recommends
applying this soy protein serum before you go to bed and when you wake up to
get longer and stronger eyelashes! This serum also acts as the perfect mascara
base. (I received a sample in my gift bag and it is amazing!)
3. Apply lipstick to your bottom lip only
When wearing lipstick, you can either be bold or simply go for a natural
look. Well, Kevianno recommends applying lipstick to your bottom lip only for a
simpler and softer look.
4. Apply bright blue mascara on the tips of your lashes
Kevianno recommends this simple trick for a more illuminating look.
Your eyes can get that brighter and bolder look instantly with just a touch of blue
mascara!
5. Use green or blue liner inside your eye
Forget the regular black eyeliner and spice things up with a green
or blue liner. Kevianno says this trick will not only make your eyes stand out
but it will also get rid of under eye shadows as well!
