As we settle into summer most of us have vacations, celebrations and special events with friends and family where food and wine are always invited to the party. My most joyful memories consist of evenings spent drinking in scrumptious fare and great conversation.
Unfortunately along with those fabulous nights usually comes an entire morning of dragging ass. And getting older doesn’t help matters. Luckily there are some simple remedies to get rid of the day-after sludge. So go ahead and enjoy those rich foods and delicious wines.
Our bodies are mostly made up of water, so first of all, make sure you’re hydrating yourself. Put down the toxic soda and replace it with water – 64 ounces to be exact (that’s eight 8-ounce glasses for those who suck at math). Don’t scowl at me; you’ll get frown lines.
